Dundarave Print Workshop invites artists to participate in its first open call to artists across Canada for a group exhibition this Spring. We will be displaying work from selected Canadian-based artists with the intention of building relations among the printmaking community across the country.

The theme for this year’s open call is “The Journey.” We invite artists to share their unique perspectives on the diverse narratives that the concept of journeying embodies. Whether capturing physical travels, exploring personal growth, or delving into imaginative realms, "The Journey" invites you to celebrate the transformative nature of life's paths.

Artists are encouraged to submit up to 3 pieces relating to the exhibition theme. Works can be old or new but must incorporate printmaking mediums. All forms of printmaking are welcome including lithography, intaglio, relief, screenprint, monotype, and other expanded and mixed media practices in printmaking. We ask that work is sized less than 24” in width or height on its longest side. Submission is free and will be juried by the Dundarave Print Workshop curatorial team.

The selected artworks will be featured and on display at the Dundarave Print Workshop gallery on Granville Island, Vancouver, BC, from April 11, 2024 to May 5, 2024. The opening party will be held on April 11, 6–9 pm. Mark your calendars!
