Service Description
Beginner-friendly workshop to introduce participants to linocut printmaking and inspire their creativity through nature. Enjoy drawing, carving and printing in a relaxed atmosphere where participants can explore their artistic visions. Student will learn the design and plan out a linoprint, transfer a design to block, the carving process and how to use printmaking presses to create their final prints. Participants will leave with a hand-carved stamp and up to three (3) prints based on their own connection to nature. Students can choose to carve a stamp based on existing designs such as: a waterfall landscape, desert landscape or use a design of your choice! No experience is required. All supplies will be provided. Linocut is a printmaking technique that involves carving a design into a piece of linoleum, applying ink to the carved surface, and then transferring the ink onto paper or paper.
