INTAGLIO 1: INTRODUCTION TO DRYPOINT This workshop aims to provide an introduction to printmaking and the tools needed for creating Drypoint prints. This technique involves tracing and scratching an image onto a plastic plate, which will be inked and printed using an etching press. Multiple prints can be made, which can also be hand coloured later. All materials will be included! INTAGLIO 2: ETCHING AND PRINTING COPPER PLATES This is a hands-on workshop teaching traditional and contemporary intaglio printmaking techniques. Participants learn to prepare copper plates, apply grounds, create images using line and tonal techniques, and use a printing press to produce, ink, and print editions. We will focus on safety, creativity, and materiality. All materials are included in the cost of this workshop! ​
